Hamsters can be found in a variety of places, from the wilds to your home.Hamsters are creatures that have been around for a very long time, thought to have first evolved 90 million years ago. They live in colonies and produce burrows which they use to escape from danger or find food during hard times.Hamsters (meaning hoard in German) are small rodents that can be found all over the world. They typically have a neatly groomed coat with long hair on their back, sides, and tail which they use for traction when running across surfaces such as smooth floors or ceilings in an enclosure without much natural light from windows. The natural habitat of hamsters is thought to be the desert, but they can also be found in farmlands. A hamster’s diet mainly consists of plant-based foods such as seeds and nuts which are then supplemented with insects and other small invertebrates. In their natural environment, these winter white pet hamsters live on food sources that are usually available at certain times of the year. Golden hamsters are highly social animals and tend to live in groups, although several other species may often be found living together with one another under natural circumstances. The average hamster’s lifespan ranges between two and three years although some may live several years longer than this. But have you ever wondered where do these cute little hamsters come from? Well, they’re not aliens and haven’t been sent from outer space to be with us. In fact, they have been around for a long time now - ever since the ancient Egyptians discovered them 3,000 years ago! It is believed that hamsters might come from the wild forests or meadows in search of food. Although we still don’t know how they came into existence, there is no doubt that these cute furry rodents that breed have found their way into our hearts and homes and while some may think it’s strange living with such creatures, many just adore these lovely animals. Where do these hamsters come from? Do they live in the wild burrows or in captivity? Many young hamsters are tamed, but there are some species of hamsters that live in the wild! Many people, especially kids, wonder how do these hamsters come to the wild nature? How to carry them? How do they adjust to the natural environment? This is where research comes in. According to researchers, hamsters have existed for quite some time now and existed in the wild just like other wild animals did. We have a wide variety of them living in the world today. The main difference between wild hamsters species and a domesticated hamster is that a domestic pet hamster has been bred by humans since the 19th century, while other types have adapted to living on their own. Hamsters are naturally warm nocturnal animals, which means that they are active during the night, while they sleep during most parts of the day. Some believe their source is Northern China, Syria, Jerusalem, or Belgium. When encountering danger in their natural habitat, the smell of scent glands in their pouches plays a role. Hamsters can cause themselves harm by releasing an unpleasant musky smell from the scent glands in their cheek pouches that deter predators. These wild hamsters may have come from domesticated hamsters which have been released by their owners. The only way to determine whether a Syrian hamster rodent species have adapted to living in our world or not is to observe its behavior. So if you happen to find one of these cute creatures in your backyard, this might be either because it’s abandoned or escaped from its owner. It’s very possible that the wild winter white ones found were originally abandoned to live and find food on their own. But these hamsters with soft fur adapt pretty well to living in the wild and can easily find food like vegetables and shelter.Where do Chinese dwarf hamsters come from? There are many types of hamsters including, the European hamster, Russian hamster, Syrian hamster, Chinese dwarf hamster, and the golden hamster! Chinese dwarf hamsters are one of the many types discovered; only a small amount of people know about them. The Chinese dwarf hamster is also known as the ‘dwarf hotot species’ and this pet is identified by its black eyes with a white patch (or circle) around them, like glasses. Unlike Syrian hamsters with soft fur, Chinese dwarf hamsters have ears that sit on the sides of their head and they have a warm furry tail with a peculiar scent nature (commonly in winter). Their length is about 2-3 in (5.08-7.62 cm) and they can live up to two years. Chinese dwarf hamsters are bred in China, but also in middle Russia, Germany, Holland, and France unlike Syrian hamsters or a golden hamster! However, there are ‘wild types’ like the Syrian hamsters or Russian which can be found in central and eastern Asia. As they grow older, their coloring will relatively change slightly and the white markings around their eyes and cheeks become more clear. The Chinese dwarf hamster, unlike a Syrian hamster, can live together (in pairs or groups) if they are introduced to each other when they are young. You need to carry this very carefully though so none of them get injured, especially if it’s a Syrian hamster. If you get more than one of them then the best way is to put them in a birdcage and using toilet paper tubes, hay, or boxes you can make tunnels so they can hide and play in. This way you can make sure they are doing fine. The minimum recommended cage size for your Golden hamster species is 16 x 25 x 12 in (40.64 x 63.5 x 30.48 cm). You can make it more fun for the dwarf hamster species by adding things like tubes, boxes, and other safe toys to their cage. Many people also cover the bottom of the cage with paper or wood shaving but you’ll need to change this one at least twice a week since they will escape out of the cage through the bars on the floor. You also need to know that the dwarf hamster is a nocturnal creature which means this pet sleeps during day time but is active at night, so you need to put this pet back in its cage before midnight and take them out in the morning.Where did domestic hamsters come from originally?Well, we couldn’t say for sure but we think Northern China, Europe, and Western Asia would be a pretty good guess. Wild hamsters were originally found in the grasslands and deserts of those regions where they made their homes. Nowadays, domesticated hamsters are found just about everywhere. There are about 26 species of hamsters, most living in desert or grassland habitats. But some species live in thick forests and others live under the ground. The domesticated European hamsters are one of the most famous and loved pets out there. Taking care of your first hamsters is super smooth and simple. In fact, hamsters are great for kids because they don’t need a lot of attention or food. Can you tell if two hamsters come from the same litter? It has never been easy for people to differentiate between different hamsters from the same litter, but we want to let you know it is not completely impossible! Two hamsters will look similar and even behave like twins, but there are some measures you can take to tell the difference. One simple method is of course looking at size: if one of them is smaller than usual you might be dealing with a newborn. On the other hand if one is bigger than usual it might be an older one.Another way to differentiate related siblings is by looking at their teeth. As they mature, hamsters’ teeth grow and appear outside their mouths, so if you look closely on the edge of the mouth you should find some tooth ‘stumps’. If two hamsters come from the same litter but one has already started to use its teeth (meaning it’s older) and the other still doesn’t have them, then surely they’re not twins. The third way of differentiating related hamsters of the same litter is by making them fight. That’s right, the pet hamster sometimes locks itself in a battle using feet in captivity. If two of them are pretty much the same size and you put them together they will eventually start to fight each other.
