Yandusaurus is a genus of ornithopod dinosaurs that lived during the Middle Jurassic period. It was initially considered a hypsilophodont dinosaur because of its structure that resembled dinosaurs belonging to Ornithischia. The discovery of its remains was purely accidental. In 1973, at a construction site near the Honghe Dam in China, a composter processed the bones of a skeleton of a dinosaur by mistake. The genus Albalophosaurus consists of a ceratopsian ornithischian dinosaur first described in 2009. It was a herbivore dinosaur that lived in the Early Cretaceous Period and was found exclusively in Asia, mainly Japan. It was not common to find dinosaur remains in Japan as most fossils are discovered in other parts of the world. This new ornithischian dinosaur, type species - Albalophosaurus yamaguchiorum, was first discovered in 1997 with the help of remains found by Yoshinori Kobayashi from the Kuwajima Formation of central Japan....

In South Africa, remnants of the Arcusaurus were first excavated from the dig site of Spion Kop Heelbo in 2006. The genus is composed of two juvenile specimens of the Early Jurassic epoch. Fragmented fossilized remains of a small skull and some parts of the limb and vertebrae were retrieved from the Upper Elliot Formation in Free State, South Africa. The generic name ‘Arcusaurus’ translates to ‘rainbow lizard’ as the Latin term ‘arcus’ implies ‘rainbow’ while the term ‘pereirabdalorum’ has been attributed to honoring the discoverers of the fossils, namely Lucille Pereira and Fernando Abdala....

The Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus) is a common pelagic subspecies of the mackerel family. It also goes by other names such as Boston mackerel, Scottish mackerel, and Norwegian mackerel, and is related to tuna. Carcharodontosaurus is a theropod dinosaur of North Africa, belonging to the family Carcharodontosauridae. There are two species classified under this group of dinosaurs; Carcharodontosaurus saharicus and Carcharodontosaurus iguidensis. The former was initially called Megalosaurus saharicus by Charles Depéret and J. Savornin before it was renamed by Ernst Stromer von Reichenbach. Unfortunately, the holotype fossils of Carcharodontosaurus were destroyed in World War II. In 1995, paleontologist Paul Sereno found more complete fossil remains, including skull and teeth, which became the perfect replacement for the destroyed holotype....

Carpenter bees are part of the genus Xylocopa and belong to the Xylocopinae subfamily. There are 500 bees in the genus, divided into 31 subgenera. The word ‘carpenter bee’ comes from the fact that almost all species bore holes in wood or hard plants, such as dead wood or bamboo, to lay eggs. Gobititan shenzhouensis belongs to the Gobitat genus of the Early Cretaceous period. Upon its discovery from its remains, it was determined that it is a new basal titanosaur that once inhabited the Gobi desert region of China. The name of this genus is after the Gobi desert of China and Titan from Greek mythology. The types species name ‘shenzhouensis’ is inspired by an ancient name of China ‘Shenzhou’. The fossils that have been obtained from the early Cretaceous era exhibit that the number of Caudal vertebrae exceeds the other Titanosauriforms and is contemplated as one of its most distinguished features....
