The first formal portrayal of the winged teal bluebird was by the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus in 1766 in the twelfth version of his Systema Naturae. He authored the binomial name Anas discors. A sub-atomic phylogenetic study looking at mitochondrial DNA successions distributed in 2009 tracked down that the genus Anas, as then characterized, was non-monophyletic. Their class was further separated into four monophyletic genera with ten species including this bird moving into the restored family of Spatula....

Dyoplosaurus is an extinct genus of armor-bodied dinosaurs within the family Ankylosauridae and the subfamily Ankylosaurinae. This genus belonged to the Late Cretaceous time period’s lower levels of the Dinosaur Park Formation in the most recent Campanian stage around 76.5 million years ago. They occupied Alberta in modern-day Canada. The genus Dyoplosaurus means ‘double-armored lizard.’ There is only one species known of this genus called Dyoplosaurus acutosquameus as per a study on redescription by Arbour, Sissons, and Burns....

The Eotriceratops is a herbivore dinosaur that existed in the late Cretaceous period, about 68 million years ago. The fossils of this animal were located in Alberta, Canada, at the Horseshoe Canyon Formation. The specimen was located in a remote region, in a rock horizon that was a remnant of large sediment deposits from around 68 million years ago. The timeline of their existence was pinpointed to the Late Cretaceous to the Maastrichtian stage....

Scolosaurus is an extinct genus of ankylosaurid dinosaurs that was a member of the family Ankylosauridae and the subfamily Ankylosaurinae. The fossils of this Campanian Late Cretaceous extinct genus creature have been discovered in the Dinosaur Park Formation and Oldman Formation in Alberta, Canada.This genus comprises only two species: Scolosaurus cutleri, and Scolosaurus thronus, which are the oldest known ankylosaurid dinosaurs of North America. They are assumed to have existed in the Campanian stage of the Late Cretaceous in the Dinosaur Park Formation....
