Aniksosurus darwini were discovered in the Bajo Barreal Formation of Argentina in 2006. Paleontologists Rubén Dario Martínez and Fernando Emilio Novas discovered the fossil. The name Aniksosaurus means ‘spring lizard’, derived from a Greek word that means ‘spring’. The fossil of this spring lizard was found on September 21, 1995, which is the day of spring onset in the Southern Hemisphere. The epithet was first coined in 1995; the name of the type species was given in honor of Charles Darwin....

The Nanuqsaurus is a dinosaur genus known to have dated back all the way to the Late Cretaceous age.Only a single type species comes under this genus, called the Nanuqsaurus hoglundi. This species was named by Ronald S. Tykoski and Anthony R. Fiorillo. This species is currently known only from the fossil remains of a partial skull. Some undescribed postcranial elements are also existing. The entire Nanuqsaurus skeleton has not been discovered yet....

Nipponosaurus, a kind of hadrosaur, was discovered on the Sakhalin Island in 1934 when this site was a part of the Japanese territory. Currently, this region is a part of Russia. This dinosaur was formally named and described in 1936. It existed during the Late Cretaceous period. 60% of the skeleton of this dinosaur has been recovered, however, some important bones, including much of the skull, are still missing. The name ‘Nipponosaurus’ literally translates to “Japanese Lizard”....

Patagotitan, with the scientific name Patagotitan mayorum, is a kind of titanosaur endemic to Patagonia of Argentina. A total of six skeletal remains have been collected of this relatively new species, making it one of the most complete fossils. These dinosaurs were plant-eating and existed 95-102 million years ago. The type species of Patagotitan was formally described by Alejandro Otero, José Luis Carballido, Diego Pol, and a few others.Interestingly, the six fossil specimens of Patagotitan which were recovered by scientists were all found in the same geological dig sites, however, the time of death was years apart....
