Are you interested in knowing about unique dinosaurs that lived on our Earth? If so, then the Brohisaurus will fascinate you as its phylogenetic position is still unclear. Some ribs, vertebrae, and limb bones of this dinosaur were discovered in the Kimmeridgian Sembar Formation that is situated in the Kirthar Mountains of Pakistan. M. Sadiq Malkani was the one to describe the species name and classification of this dinosaur in 2003. Malkani did choose ‘Kirthari’ as the species name, which is derived from the Kirthar Mountains. Malkani described it to be a titanosaur sauropod due to the presence of similar traits like pneumatic cavities in ribs and femoral bones with elliptic cross-sections, which were indeed special. He even said this dinosaur to have been alike to the Malawisaurus found in Africa. As a sauropod, the Brohisaurus would have been a herbivore that used to eat plants in its habitat. However, very little information is available about this species. Hence, keep reading to know more about the Brohisaurus.
